I'm sorry; please forgive me: this is my go-to phrase. Five words which can save a relationship! Being less wrong more often is the goal towards which I'm heading. It is like navigating in dense fog; you've got to wait for the gap, avoid the long-drops and hope there's a clearing ahead.
It's outstanding how wrong I am so often. Yet, my delightful family patiently share the life-line words: "Dad, this is what I need..." making sure "I repeat after me" and ensuring they are both seen and heard.
Sometimes, as I navigate these foggy family mountainsides, I occasionally manage to be less wrong. However, like a view with gathering mist, it doesn't last long!
