Sails in the wind, swords to the sun

Time and gentleness are the two great gifts to give our children. Their security and a deep-rooted sense of belonging grounds our children for establishing some good life principles, such as trust, faithful and friendly.  However; they need a sense of adventure that not everything is mapped out and exact. Helping them to find their journey, a direction and being ready when they pursue it.  A great mountain trek is months in the preparation and days in the execution.  Set the sail and find the adventure. We do well when our children are outside and up trees, off piers, through woodlands, crossing streams and getting muddy, wet and cold. Growing their confidence, courage and character.
